Totem Pole

This totem bird is made from an Oak log, which was split in two to allow hollowing, then bolted back together with the wings in place, and the head carved.

Once installed, the feathers were cut to make different notes, to be used as a xylophone, commissioned by the Forestry Commission, as a feature for their education area at Cwmcarn Scenic Drive.
