Wise Monkey

Commissioned by a former employer as a comedy retirement present for my old boss George (he hates totem poles). Clutch burning in my mind as to how to make this relevant and of some comedy value in itself, the idea of 3 wise council monkeys came to be; the bottom sleeping, his ears in his hands, the other covered by the middle monkeys foot, and the middle monkey is leaning on a spade, with his eyes obscured by the top monkey, who's mouth was covered by a hand which, if it not for a certain need to be P.C. would have been smoking a fag, but lets just pretend he's stuffing his face with a pasty. A council worker phones his foreman, to tell him, they had forgotten to bring any shovels out to site, to which the foreman replies "Don't worry boys, just lean on each other till I get out to you."
