Thinning And Extraction

Here carrying out thinning and extraction work at Beaufort, near Ebbw Vale. Working with Lee Kenniford on behalf of Coed Cymru.

Plantations such as on these spoil tips, need to be thinned, in order to allow a more naturally spaced woodland to grow to maturity - plantations are always over planted to allow for loss of a portion of the trees to damage/disease.
