As we grow more conscious, as a society, of the inherent value, and worth of the natural world around us, we have grown to also see the value of sympathetic management of natural woodlands, for reasons of habitat improvement and amenity value, instead of focusing merely on the economic viability of management - potential harvesting of timber.
